Directions

Enter the University of Nottingham Campus at the Beeston entrance and the gatehouse will direct you to Lenton House.  Please note, the campus has a 20mph speed limit.  If the gatenhouse is unmanned, enter the campus and follow the road ahead, veer left and then turn right into the drive when you see the sign for Lenton House.

About Lenton House

Lenton House is a Grade 2 Georgian mansion set among the University of Nottingham grounds within 10 minutes from Beeston site.

In 1920 the estate became the property of John Campbell Boot, son of Boots founder Jesse Boot. Lenton House was initially used as John’s family home before being sold to The Boots Company and used as the company guesthouse. During the 1930s the grounds of Lenton House were used for pioneering horticultural research projects, and by 1944 much of the estate was being used for experimental purposes and known as Lenton Research Station.

Today, Lenton House is an ideal place to host business meetings, seminars and training conferences in surround conferences in surroundings steeped in history. A wide range of packages are on offer, as well as bespoke meetings and functions to suit any requirements.
